    Nice thread, i've been thinking about these vandal resistant switches for a long time, on my shuttle. i was going to have 4 of them:

    1.
    - button: power on/off
    - light: power LED

    2.
    - button: reset
    - light: hard disk activity

    3.
    - button: CD tray open/close
    - light: CD activity

    4.
    - button: cathode on/off
    - light: cathode power LED

    only problem is the cathode switch needs to be momentary instead of PTM. So i might have to change the switch for a momentary one from an AT case.

    Yeah the top one is better for rusty and dangererous looking case, but if you want to do just a clean, read:modern) radioactive case then the lower one.
    Waiting to see what's going to happen.

    you meen you need the one for the plazma ball to be permenent not momentary?

    with 2 relays, you can take a momentary switch and turn it into a permenet switch.

    its realy easy. EDIT: let me know if your intrested

    Use water cooling. Water has small amounts of radiactive hydrogen molecules. Those would be more Duturium than Tritium, but hey that's decay for you.
