I know this is not so common hear but i wan't to make them for my big brother. He has a toyota carina II (XL). I need some guid/blueprint how to make them or some size of the seats. I have googled but i have not found any help there. plas help if u can.
Go to your local auto parts store and find the appropriate seat covers (they can help you) youll need to find out if its bucket, racing or bench seats thou first. then just slice the seams and use those to make your panels.
o man my grandma made seat covers for my sisters boy friends car from scratch, he just bought some blue and white fake leather fabric we wanted it to be really tight fitting but that would be pretty hard to do dam i dont have the pics anymore it was pretty nice
??? Need to make from scratch as Bboy_Jon grandmom did. But if i under stand correctly u mean that i buy som cheap covers and make it on top of them? coud work if they aren't to expensive. thes are the stock seats so. just need some bluprints of how to cut the parts.
ya my grandma just made a cover basically, well the needle and thread with the leather type fabric was about 20 or all together (or 30 lol)
OK, maybe we should explicitly specify that this is a COMPUTER modding forum. You want to discuss car seats, why don't you post this thread in the "Motors" subforum in the "General" section?
Not really (look, please don't argue with the Mod, OK?...). Moreover you are more likely to get relevant replies in the Motors section.
Well not to continue this thread but to clarify what i meant, buy a cheap seat cover and slice the stitches. then use the peices of fabric you get as a pattern for the peices you need to cut, then sew them back together the way they came apart.
word Youre better off looking searching for this via google I doubt anyone here has actually made any seats themselves
QFT. this may be a generalization, but: people that work with computers don’t work with sewing. (maybe that’s just me?)
