Now, I'm not hating on the LEDs, but what's the point of having lights on a mouse that are going to be entirely obscured by your hand? In fact, I never actually look at my mouse when I'm using the computer - I might cast the occasional glance at the keyboard, but not the mouse

 

Cougar eh, should it not have a more feminine colour then? Anyway I'm sure mum will be happy with it even so.

 

That's my thought too, in fact in another mouse review I suggested the manufacturers put a light in the cable an inch from the mouse so you can at least notice it if it's meant to indicate stuff. But for decoration I guess it's for times you aren't using the mouse and it's fancying up your desk.
