    Yo dawg!

World Cup is when the big push for Freeview HD is coming! They plan on broadcasting most(/all?) games in HD on freeview to compatible tuners. Hold back and see how the prices look for HD!

The prices of TV tuners is ridiculously high for what they are. I know that most countries are not as advanced but in the UK all analog signals will be dead within the next couple of years rendering a large portion of these and other cards usless. It is so hard to find a decent Dual Digital TV card for less than £80-£90. For that sort of money I would want Dual Digital AND Dual Satalite capabilities. Its not like these technologies are new. Then even when you find a card that works, has decent driver support, works with MediaCentre and most other UI's you end up with the most rubbish remotes left over from the early 1990s. No wonder HTPCs in general have failed to take off.

I bought a PCI DVB-T tv tuner a few months ago, and since a re-tune was required when terrestrial signal was turned off, it has failed to work. What a jip.

Has no one noticed hes called Anfield. Hes probably realised (finally) that Liverpool will never win the Premiership, and is having a bit of a sulk.
