Of my jeep! Was taking some pictures of the interior as I'm putting a computer in (the stock stereo just doesn't cut it IMO ) and decided to get a pic for my avatar and a pic of the jeep flexin. Without further adeu... "Amazin' Flex" Click for 640x480 another pic (only 640x480)
I scared one guy who was trying to drive on the wrong side of the road (musta been one of you crazy brits). He pulled out in front of me, facing me. So I had to stop, waited a minute, then put it in neutral and revved it. He then went back to the driveway. I bought my jeep b/c it was cheaper than anything else I could find (in such decent shape), and it WILL be seeing off road use. Gonna be a whole lotta fun. Sorry, but you just can't take a mini rock crawling. Or mudding for that matter.
quickly, I want a history lesson. Who was first to have an organized road system with laws dictating which side of the road one was to drive on?
keep in mind that those who created america were american. That's pretty much the whole point to america . Crazy brit, act like the brittish government said they wanted america to be independent In any case, I asked who had roads with formal laws. Not where the people who made the laws came from
Roads were probably invented by the Romans but traffic lights were first invented in Britain..........
What's this? (http://www.thehistorychannel.com/perl/print_book.pl?ID=117471) And where was the first AUTOMATIC traffic light? That, was in Michigan. And where wast he first electric traffic light? What? That was in the U.S. too? (http://www.ideafinder.com/history/inventions/story010.htm)
Mr T, do you have pics of a mini rock crawling? I neeeeeeeeeeeeed! Actually, if I were forced to sell the jeep, I'd be looking for a mini If they can't hotwire your car, at least they can still walk off with it.
I must agree with the CRAZY Yank that we really drive on the wrong side of the road, its Britians stubboness trying to impose our will on the rest of the world (like some other country we all know ). But no doubt the EU will make drive on the correct side of the road like most of the world. Then we could get cheap car imports with the steering wheel on the right side
how can there be a right side of the road (right as in right or wrong) its either the left or the right. they dont have any advantages over each other (apart from that in certain european countries i could mention driving on the right seems to turn everyone on the roads in to complete ********* that want to kill everyone) so lets just face up to the fact that brits drive on the left and most other people drive on the wrong.. i mean right hand side.
Canada swapped sides in 1920. Maybe we should've done the same thing too. I actually prefer the left side of the road cos I'm left handed and can change gears with my left hand, but I suppose that's just because I'm used to driving that way, if I had learnt on the right I might feel differently.
