How about your spelling? Anyway, what have you got? If you can't find inspiration on bit-tech you probably can't mod.
............. I cant mod either but dude I would atleast have a imagination and look around my house for junk and see what i can do with it...
ps what do you think of an empty video recorder case with a computer in side, obviously not a moniter but you get the idea im a first time modder
well it is proper old so really large i was thinking of several fans along the side and a fan at top with chasing leds around the bottom but need the cash before i start lol
<rant> OHH MY GOODNESS, I CANT STAND THESE 'GIVE ME SOMETHING TO MOD THREADS' HOW MANY TIMES HAS THEN BEEN POSTED, AND NOTHING COME OF IT... </rant> but in all seriousness, have some originality, boom, large speaker box, put a pc in it, put cathodes behind some opaque large 12'' speaker and have the computer be a selfcontained cdplayer/speaker combo, that is computer driven or something... or how bout having 8 cathodes in ur case all controlled via a program on ur pc via ur parallel port, ive done it and it was pretty BsTCHIN!, simple vb program was all that was needed, u could even make them light up acoring to certain beats of music or something...
If you're really bored, then freeze stuff. http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=96946 I think I'm gonna freeze my flash drive and see if it still works while encased in ice.
wow... Come one man use some imagination... if one of these guys gives you an idea then well someone else might do the same mod and you will have no claim to the novelty!
Rofl Hows about mod your hoover onto your case to get some serious airflow through it Ok, had another couple of ideas. one of them was some sort of oil rig/industrial plant mod. e.g. have some complicated water cooling system with lots of chrome pipes and chimney stacks so it looks industrial. My other idea was a seriously retro 80s mod. Use marbled woods, big chrome switches + sliders, needle dials... just imagine an old James bond movie! (i was thinking of the center console in one of the old DB5's) One of the mods I've always wanted to do is a back-to-the-future delorean mod. nixie tubes, big vents, flux capacitors, clunky switches Cheesecake!!!111one (c) woof82 hoover mod.
heres an idea on what to do on the long weekend. take a hammer, stand in your living room, close your eyes and spin until you hit something. then spend the weekend repairing it.
xD Take a box of old things great great great granddy williams gave ye and find a way to use them in a computer with some purpose other than looks. Or maybe try using your imagination hmmmmm?
