I saw this thing done somewhere before, maybe somebody knows where...
I want to put an lcd on the bay cover on a stealthed drive, where the bay cover with lcd flips down when the tray comes out. It sounds simple enough except for 2 problems I can thing of:
    1. I'm not sure most trays are ejected with enough force to flip on the bay cover + lcd, while using a hinge that has enough friction to prevent it from coming open accidentally.
    2. if the bay cover is flipping down on a hinge, how will it be able to press the eject button?

    consider this

if u flip ur tray might hit the LCD too (maybe maybe not... but just think about it)

Answer 1... Use a spring, not hinge friction

Answer2 ... use a remote switch in parallel with the switch already on your drive... Momentary contact and hide it somewhere else(howabout the top of the drive bay, where the hinge will let it touch...

You could use a weak magnet to hold the LCD face shut, i'm sure a CD tray could push past that
