Intel is allegedly planning to raise the price of the netbook staple Atom N270 CPU as it falls victim to the chip's unexpected popularity among OEMs.

 

i still think we are a few years away from genuine affordable computing.

what i mean by that is something with the power of the ION for roughly £40 inclusive with a 10gb flash drive and power supply when this happens i expect i'll buy 3 or 4 of them
