Now your magnum opus is complete, are you going to retire or make comparatively inferior mods?

Seriously though, the finishing touches to a great ghetto mod :D

That's not gaffer tape... Gaffer tape tends to be black and cloth-backed, and usually doesn't leave sticky stuff behind when you pull it up. That's duct tape.

cute case. not as funny as i thought it was going to be tho. i was expecting a good condition box with neat cuts but what we have here is a real cheap'n'nasty job - not sure why i was expecting higher "quality" on a cardboard pc? :duh: :wallbash: definitely the ghetto-MOTY
nice choice of box tho :hehe: and yes, wtf is the window? use a piece of transparency :)
i noticed a few have mentioned that we should have a cardboard case mod contest - EXCELLENT IDEA
    why?
many great ideas can be easily & quickly shared. im sure there are many with excellent ideas that dont have the time and/or money for fancy cases, lights, fans, tools, etc.
heaps of cool shapes that can be created with fibreglass/carbon/etc can be quickly made with cardboard.
maybe instead of being a contest it can be a thread where pics of prototypes/cardboard pcs can be posted. thats not too ghetto is it?
car manufacturers use clay for modelling, we can use cardboard!

Don't forget I'm only using things which are in my room - these things aren't (well, LED's are, but I'm not ripping them out of anything). :p

All I can say is different.

On the other hand a cardboard contest would prove very intresting.

u could always just use glad wrap :hehe: you dont have to go out and buy a piece of transparency, there must be some clear plastic packaging around the house. one window on each side would be nice!
you must go and buy some leds however, or im gonna set it on fire. i wanna see it lit up one way or another

There are already LED's inside it, did you miss half that last update?

And I'll say it again, for the last time, I will only use things that are in my room, not the house. Besides, I like the purple colour, and it works just fine...

To answer your questions... The fire point is 258°C, the ignition temperature 427°C. if the PC reaches either temperature, there are other issues here.
