I think that's a bit harsh on Bjorn3D - I bet your Swedish isn't as good as their English. ;)

Yes I do believe it is a bit harsh, I was meaning that those are just little things, that dont detract too much from the overall site. However the article is good and thier site layout is quite well done. Nothing against them. And no I know no any Swedish.

That site is clearly not designed to be used in Firefox, the side menu kept moving around between pages.

Massive difference between the mid and low end systems though.

And on the high end, basically if you run HUGE res, go ATi

WTF happened in the quake 4 benches though? Nvidia 109FPS, ATI 20fps?
It doesnt seem to make any sense. I guess that ATI's cards just cont cope with the engine as well as it should or a driver issue or something is holding it back.

the X1900GT CrossFire drivers are a hotfix/beta driver - there is no other way to enable CrossFire in the $600 price bracket with products that haven't been discontinued.

Wow, nVidia certainly did well in round 4! I don't mean to be a conspiracy theorist here, but I did expect Crossfire XTXs to do at least a little better, looking back to single XTX benchmarks. :s Perhaps nVidia were ready with better drivers, since it was their idea?

A surprise win for the dual XTXs on Chronicles of Riddick though right? :eyebrow:

I'm also wondering how much difference using Conroe motherboards and cpus would've made...

It's been very interesting so far though. Looking forward to the rest. :D

crossfire drivers seem very bad atm, and the early revisions could see a performance loss for 2 cards

This is a very strange indeed, crossfire seems to be still pretty naff, the X1900 XTX vs the 7900 GTX both cards are roughly the same, better in some areas than others but when you add another card to the equation it's a whole new story. Though this could end up like teh Cat 5.8(or whatever version it was) for the X1800 series, ATi have quite a lot of work to todo...

What a boring part five though, page after page after page of almost identical looking charts.
