The time has come to replace my aging TV, but I've found I know next to nothing about them! I also don't trust the review websites - "the processing power is a concern, it only has dual core instead of quad core!". So I came to the people that I know have deep knowledge about such things: You. Requirements: 36 inch maximum, although bigger is better Built-in WiFi Satellite support (FreeSat), perhaps Freetime if available? Decent sound (aka no external sound bar if possible) 1080p Full HD Well designed Smart OS with a range of apps - iPlayer, ITVoD, etc. I hope my incompetence isn't too obvious! Thanks in advance.
First and most obvious question, what's your budget? Samsung, Sony, LG and Panasonic all make decent sets in all price brackets, i would certainly advise going into Currys, John Lewis, Richer Sounds etc and having a look at sets, see what you like. Sam
Budget isn't really defined: I'd like something that will last, even if I have to pay a small premium for it. I was thinking in the £350 - £400 range?
