Electronics Powering a tft monitor from the computers psu

    I bought a tft monitor of ebay with out a power adapter

    After looking on the internet at the monitors spec i found out it was 12v 1.6 amp

    So could i use the computers power suppy to power the monitor

    should be able to. just make sure you get the polarity right. and make sure your PSU has enough spare current to power it.

    It will work, I have dont it myself. Just make sure you don't mess up! Oh, and as xen said make sure your PSU can handle it. What current rating is your PSU?
