    An awful lot more goes into the price of a commercial product than BOM, markup, or even amortised R&D/licensing. You're not even considering the huge cost of all the software and firmware that goes into modern phones. Besides, if you don't like the way Apple do business then you don't have to do business with them.

    The Pi Zero is a PCB re-spin of an existing product, not a brand-new product.

    Really disappointed that the CSI camera connector was omitted. The size would have been perfect for a motion camera build for a bird feeder for the kids.

    I haven't - though I've seen a fair few projects based around it poppin' up. If there's one going beggin', I'd certainly fancy having a play - ta!
