These are some images from the Nikkor 24-70mm/2.8 lens with my D3. Wonderful combo. The first image has very little done in post. The color/contrast through this lens is amazing. Anyways just some fun shots from the Nutcracker/the holidays.

I have to say NzC having seen your photos over a period of time, I can really see a personal style developing and your eye for composition has really stepped up in a relatively short period of time. While the 2nd shot is a cute snapshot, it pales next to the rest as far as look/feel.
The third image is just fantastic, but that's mostly due to composition, lighting, and processing. Well done to you, regardless of the lens you used.
