hi all, may i ask u guys how many hardwares have u fried on overclocking? i have already let a motherboard and a power supply retire but i think i wont stop once i have forgot the pain. of course i am very new on oc and just started it the last 2 weeks.
melted a molex or too, nothing major though, - preparation tis the key to success. Also recognising ur limit is important, u push it too far and pmmmphhh
I knackered a p166 via overclocking. The best way to do it is in small steps, then you can see where you went wrong easily if anything happens.
for about 20 minutes last night i thought i had trashed my radeon 9500 pro. I felt sick. turns out i just needed to cold boot to get rid of the chequerboard screen another close shave.
