After seeing numours "What should I buy my..... for X-Mas?" threads I thought it would be a good idea to have one central place where we can all ask for festive gift buying advice. I'll get the ball rolling, what should I get my Dad for X-Mas, he has no hobbies and doesn't watch tv or films. The only thing that he seems to be into is going to the gym. Anyone got any ideas for a "general" gift?
See, this is where threaded mode would be superior (see other thread, cba to link it). One thread for each request... Give him "nordic walking sticks" (i cringe at the name but what are you gonna do, eh?). They look silly as hell, but give you a good workout if used properly... He already has gym membership (2 in fact) and slippers. I like the idea of something health related, though. Thanks for the suggestions.
buy him one of thioge huge 2 gallon tubs of pure protein powder with a totally disgustingly greased man in speedos on the front!
get him some old coca-cola or heineken advertisement posters, by old i mean like 1950's, they are like fiver a piece
Have a look on iwantoneofthose.com and see if there's any silly but excercise giving toys you could get him? *edit* or socks.
