I think you should rust those cliff thingies on the side a bit, but just a little bit because otherwise the colour doesnt really match
Hey their piloux, great work on your case, tough I must say I like this one better than the previous one, the valve one is more........ Easier on the eye so to speak BTW Check out my project log
if you have watched some of the HL2 vids you will see the "fins" (Combine) are black in the game so why should rust them? sorry if i came on a bit crude but, i just don't see te point of making another completely rusted case, if you know what i mean
Um to be honest i like the original one you did much more than this one. It was 20x cooler in my opinion. The reses on it and the lazer looked so good. I dunno just throwing my 2 cents in. This one still looks cool, I just prefer the other one.
I agree. This shouldnt be interpreted, as this is bad, because there are some really nice details on this one, and i think the City/gate/whatever stuff on the backside, along with the logo over it and the logo on the front looks great. The old one is just better overall. Still u piloux. Edit:After seeing the old rig again, i think you should take what i just wrote with a grain of salt. This one kicks ASS!!!
Uh - why don't you wait until he is done before you decide which one you like better? There were some parts of his first half-life case that I had serious doubts about until I saw the finished product.
The two idiotic americans that sudjested 'rusting' the combine got told why not, stop being stroppy. Looking good, is the combine going darker ?
My only question would be if you are sending Valve update pictures on the case all the time are they in turn asking for any special little features to be added or removed? OR is the design of the case 100% in your control/
I just keep everything under my control, they are ok with this and they like how it is turning out; some words from Gabe Newel : "Wow! This is turning out much cooler than I expected."
I know you used a "cn router" to make this...... ....but I don't understand how you made them so smooth, how does the cn router work? Because a person couldn't do that by hand so is it something you insert in a computer then the computer tells the the cn router what to do, or how is it? (I honestly want to know!!!)
of course it is the cn router that is programed lines; the logo were drawed with coreldraw , vectorised and then converted into macintosh files that are used by the router
dude, run run away very fast and hide a long wayaway before a million flames come down upon you or just read the flipping thread anyway, piloux, just simply stunning, you give me something to aim for when I mod. So, got any ideas for the next one?
