News Alpha Protocol now set for Summer 2010

Sega and Obsidian have pushed back the release of Alpha Protocol until Summer 2010.

 

never heard about this game
is it any good ?
what i mean is
why is bit-tech talking about it
their are many games being pushed back or canceled

 

Because it's made by Obsidian - a very good RPG developer - and being designed by Chris Avellone - a well known and respected PC RPG developer who worked on the original Fallout titles, etc - and because as it says in the article we saw the game at GamesCom and thought it looked good. It's also notable because the game has been delayed numerous times.

 

Plus, I need constant reminders as to what this game is called - could it be any blander and forgettable? But yes, it's a game that a few of us in the office are really looking forward to.

Avellone is a little-known legend and unsung hero. He's never really worked on a bad game, IMHO, from Planescape: Torment to Baldur's Gate 2 and Fallout to Neverwinter Nights he helped shape modern RPGs.

 

I think BT had made a preview or some in-middle-depth for the game. It talked about the customization, story line, something like that.

Might me a good game after all, a RPG-based spy game. Sounds good

 

I do have really high hopes for this game, but hurts me when they keep pushing it back, well at least is for making it better, i guess, summer cannot came soon enough. darn it

 

Yeah, like, erm.. Deus Ex or something?

 

I was really excited about this when it was supposed to come out in October. Since then, I've pretty much forgotten about it. Hopefully they use this time to make it awesome.
