i have an IR blaster on a HTPC (thinggy to send IF signals to control your tv and dvd and stuff) but problem is the software that came with it isnt that flashy

im just wondering is there any other software out there to control this thing? its uses USB, but it reads it as com port3 in the software

the HTPC is hooked upto a 7" touch screen LCD and i kinda want some nice graphical software :p

can someone be of any help or might have software of their own they would like to share? there are very very few programs out there on the net it seems or im not sure what to look for?

    thanks in advance

The page you gave lists 3 software packages for windows that work with your product sagetv, beyondtv and showshifter and mythtv for linux. Also maybe gbpvr or mediaportal might support it too.
