So here it is Project Disco Fever!
I just decidet to start modding my kymco fever scooter into a disco scooter.
Here's a pic of it right now:

here's some things im planning to do:

    - A blue ord red ccfl (maybe dance to the beat?) under.

    - speakers in glovecompartment and subwhoofer under the seat.

    - changing parkkingleds to blue leds.

    - MAYBE adding superbright leds at the sides.

    - changing a part to make it faster.

    - Adding a "Blackbox" to fix the speed with a button.

Hope u understand what i mean.
Pics and plan details coming soon.

Hope u think it will work...
    Ideas comments? please tell me...

You might want to check the legality of this before embarking snitch. Sounds to me like some of the mods could break the law. Also the "Blackbox" idea sounds crazy. Even if you do link it to your accellerater, brakes and clutch to switch itself off like a cruise control its madness IMO.

You been on 2 wheels for long?

if you are in the US you cant do this as blue lights are reserved for police only .

the 'black box' isnt for fixing the speed so its the same all the time (like a cruise control)

    Let me explain:
Here in belgium, a normal b-classed bike can only go 50km/h

so they fix the number of 'explosions' on the amoundt that will be for 50km/h (aproximatly)

that will be the first speed u can choose with the box

the second is only limited by the power of ur bike

Most likely the switch will be hidden very good.

So if ur bike is being "checked by the cops, on this thing with wheels of them , (they put it all, and pull the gaz open and see how fast it would go (in theory) , so if u get pulled over ,u press the switch, and the bike is limited to 50km/h , like the law states

    offcours this is illegal.

    yes its illegal with lights...:nono:

the backbox can be bought everywhere.
It controls the (i dont know the word) spin of the engine? like RPM i think

And i know one guy he changed this part and it did 70km/h
And btw its a eu-scooter so it may go 50.

If u c the police just press the button and it goes 45 again...

    illegal activites? :D

    Not on bit-tech. :nono:

Would've been cool, but rules are rules...

Check out your local laws considering light placement and colors, as the cop at my former high school was incredibly strict about all this. Issued at least one neon/strobe related ticket a week.:waah:

But hey... for idling in a parking lot...

But i think you may have it if its standing still...

I just found a apir of cheap speakers and ripped them open.
They are running at 12V so it will fit prefectly...

    Pics comming soon.

I found 2 speakers and a subwoofer very cheap over at biltema but tho they dont have a store on my island and their orderfunction doesnt work so i can't get them :sigh:

Im also thinking of buying a mp3players 128mb to play the music.

Sounds good. Snitch, I've driven a scooter that originally goes about 45 km/h but had been modded to go 70 km/h. I guess that was what you call an EU bike too. And besides, you can get better acceleration, it's not only the top speed that counts.
(Disclaimer: of course, my advice/comments are only meant to be applied to scooters that are not used on public roads)

Blue parking LEDs sound cool. I know of some guys who have gotten tickets for having blue p-lights on their cars, though. Maybe you could have white ones? They are great. My new favorite LED color, even though it's not a color (or all colors).
