    Hi guys,
Just got my new PC and it already has some mushkin DDR3 2gb x2 in (Bought the i5 bundle from aria). My question is I've replace the mushkin RAM with 2x4gb DDR3 corsair vengeance sticks, is it possible to keep the other mushkin ones in as well and if so what arrangement? (IE 1x2gb and 1x4gb on each channel or 2x4gb and 2x2gb ??)

Not sure if its compatible or anything would appreciate some info ! :)

    Thank you Bit tech heroes.

It should work, so long as they're all the same speeds and latencies.

As for arrangement, I think a 4 and a 2 per channel might be the way to go...unless a far wiser person than I suggests otherwise lol

You should keep the ram same make, capacity, voltage and timings otherwise you'll have problems. Do you need >8GB? Personally I'd sell the Mushkins.
