Having real problems tracking down a decent (branded) power strip. Looking for 6 normal sockets and maybe 4 USB ports each providing 2+ amps independently. Ideally vertically oriented but open to anything as long as it does the job. Any recommendations appreciated.
It's not ideal bit i'd probably get a 8-way and add 2 of these, most of the ones with USBs are only 2A shared rather than 2A per port.
I note you say specifically for AV, so if you buy the whole mains filtering thing and could live with 6A across 4 USB ports these two combined could work and would be neat: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tacima-Conditioner-Frequency-Interference-Filter/dp/B000PS5700/ https://www.amazon.co.uk/AUKEY-Charger-socket-iPhone-Kindle/dp/B01N7KSFXR/ Quite an expensive setup though. Alternately any old branded (Masterplug, Belkin or something) 8 way surge with one of these should do the job: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Charger-RAVPower-Desktop-iSmart-Samsung/dp/B00GX3BKKW/ Alternately alternately the 2nd USB charger with a cheap 2 way adaptor plugged into the Tacima powerstrip would work too.
Well, I think this is what exactly what you're looking for: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MQKAP27/?tag=bestekmall-20 this is a desktop vertical power strip with 8 AC outlets and 6 auto 0~2.4A USB ports. The auto means the USB ports can automatically detect what your device is and can automatically deliver the optimal charging speed for it with max 2.4A. Besides, the vertical design is helpful to reduce cable clutter.
