    Ohoi!

I recently started working on a PC-mod with a Mirrors Edge theme. The case I chose is a red and white Spec-Alpha as it has the right colors and fits good with the theme.

So lets start to list the hardware.

    CASE: Corsair Carbide Spec-Alpha
    MOBO: Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7
    CPU: Intel Core i5 6600K
    GPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 980
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LED 4x8GB DDR4
    SSD: Corsair Neutron XTi 240GB
    PSU: Corsair RM650i
    COOLER: Corsair H100i v2
    FANS: Corsair ML120 PRO LED
    MISC: Corsair Commander Mini

I want to give a big thank you to DMFinearts here in Sweden who gave the case a very unique look with his airbrushing skills.

So my inspiration kind of was this.

To start I talked with a very talented airbrush artist in Sweden called DMFinearts about giving the case a Mirrors Edge theme. But more about that later.

So I started out removing the bottom harddrive cage of the case.

So the graphics card I got was this Zotac GTX980, it did not fit into the theme at all so something had to be done about that!

I removed the cooler bracket, the backplate and the fans and started giving them some paint, white and red of course.

    The fans is now red!

While the backplate got white color and the cooler bracket both!

It all ended up looking like this! I was pretty satisfied with that result.

Lets go over to the H100i v2, this also need some paint!

I masked of everything except the radiator.

I started out with a grey primer, then went on with the white paint and finished everything off with clearcoat.

The cooler ended up like this!

The coolers, GPU and motherboard really works good together now I think!

    Best regards,

Lets start installing all the hardware?

Cooler installed, I am using the red sideparts here.

Sleeving is from Modguru, really fits the theme.

Motherboard installed together with cooler and ML120 fans, I used both red and white LED fans to also build on the theme.

To hide the cables I made a small aluminium coverplate.

Which ended up holding the SSD as well, more SSDs will be added.

I also installed a Commander Mini to control all the fans and the RGB LED-strip to light up the inside of the case.

    Best regards,

Airbrushing is very cool, again, big thanks to DMFinearts!

This was my first theme-build, it is not really my style, but it was made for work and it was fun to try out new stuff.

I hope you liked it, tell me what you thought in the comments. :)
