I've seen quite a few white tattoos. If you have pale white skin, the tattoo very much resembles a scar. Quite a cool effect, but defiantly for the paler person.

I've seen white in a few tatoos. It doesn't look the best tbh. Also some colours fade and iirc doesn't white "fade" the most?

    All tattoo's fade.

I got a black one on my leg, but due to the fact I never wear shorts it hasn't started to fade.

its not just light that fades them.

depends where it is on your body, how well the tattoo was done, how you looked after it etc etc etc.

i have a classmate who has some white as part of the irish flag tatooed on his forearm. he says its the only part of any tat he has that he regrets. it seems it is quite hard to get right. i think it looks a little odd tbh. but im not a big tatoo guy.

that uv stuff is cool tho.

I have UV ink on me and let me tell you from experience....white UV ink is not that great. It has it's cool factor and all but rarely (outside of my own house) am I under a UV to show anyone (note to self, buy a portable UV light). In fact, the light has to hit them at a good angle to even be seen adn even if the lights at the right angle, your "audience" will still have to move around abit to get a good view of it. The best use of it is for highlighting a tattoo you already have as it IS extremely hard to work with.

I've had my UV ink since back in the summer and it isn't near as bright as it was when first applied...but I'll get it touched up some in my next session.

As for white ink...even on pale skin it's visible...with enough sessions, that is.

I think it's pretty pointless if you ask me, it will fade and will not be very visible really. Plus it looks crap, buts that my opinion.
