    Where did you read Apple are still getting paid? Retaining ownership on the copyright doesn't mean they are receiving money on it.

    ^^ Don't think anyone knows either way if money has changed hands ...but going on Apple's track record, what does probability indicate?


    Contracts aside, with the free advertising being generated ...the Apple brand is still getting paid.
