Robin hood, Prince of thieves? Pretty sure thats right, so mine is: "Its a high performance machine, i had to fill her with premium" Think thats righ, but fans will know what i mean
Hmmm no one seems to know that, it was from Ace Ventura. i pass it on to someone else as its a bit early to think of another one atm.
Bugger... Twas my turn i believe... "Congratulations! You have chosen to clean the elevator. To remove the floor-plate to access the electromagnetic coils underneath, press 1 now." "Thank you. Danger. Danger. Explosive bolts in the floor will now detonate and release the floor-plate. All personell must evacuate the elevator immediately. Detonation in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." It's not quite exact, but if ye've seen the film ye'll know
Mr. Roboto: That would be The Breakfast Club. Krikkit: I hate to ask for a hint, but could you give me a time frame about which that movie came out? I'm going to take a stab anyway, because it sounds like a Leslie Nielson movie, is it 2001: A Space Travesty? I still haven't seen the whole movie, but it sounds like it would fit somewhere in there. Since I got one right, here's a funny one: 1st.: What's all this then? Oh yes, you. Prepare to die Earth scum. Again. 2nd.: Oh I think you've made your point now sit down and shut up so we can go home. 1st.: Look, when a vastly superior alien culture comes all this way to take over your world, certain basic laws of planetary conquest apply. For example, when someone points a Quad Vectored Hypo Thermic Cosmo Blaster at you, it's a fair bet you are about to become toast. 2nd.: Will you please sit down and be quiet. 1st.: Or perhaps in your case, a whole loaf of toast. PHxs, Mars Attacks? Or Hithhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, though I didn't think there was a film of that... Or Men In Black 1 or 2
I'm not sure where your quote's from, but you were in the right genre of films for mine. According to the VHS box, my film was made in 1974 if it helps.
////\oo/\\\\: Nope, nope and nope. Krikkit: Still thinking about that one. Thanks for the bone, but I don't think i'm going to get that one.
Renko: Yes! And is that quote from Office Space? Kiljoi: I'm going to guess that yours is from Starship Troopers. (taking a poke because there are probably a few movies out there with a line like that) Ryan B.
Kiljoi's is from starship troopers. Lets keep to the thread rules shall we guys - one quote at a time in the thread. My quote was from a film called Dark Star. If ye can get hold of it, then do - it's a complete classic. edit: my film is available here, it's well worth a buy at £17 or about £12 on VHS...
Sweet, I was correct! I'll have to see if I can find that one locally, i.e. my side of the pond . I've got a few places to check around, i'm sure they'll have it. I love old SciFi stuff, there's nothing better than to watch a classic space movie and think about how far the genre has come along in terms of visuals. Even the cheesy 'made for tv' SciFi stuff is a leap from just ten years ago. Thanks for the suggestion on Dark Star, I think i'll have a look tomorrow for it. Thanks, Ryan B.
yup, it's Office Space hilarious film, was gonna give you "can't talk to ma momma so I talk to ma diary" but thought it really needs the accent
Alright, here's one for ya: #1 - In Korea, door handles do not break #2 - Chiun. (pause) Chiun, are you alright? (pause) Are you hurt? #1 - No, as you approach middle-age, there is a tendency towards bruising my son. #2 - What, what'd you just call me? #1 - I call you a clumsy oaf. You drive like a monkey in heat! Ryan B.
Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins ? Never ever heard of it, so I doubt anyone else has! Right, the thread is dying cos everyone is picking really hard quotes. Here's a nice easy one: " #1 What do you do for recreation? #2 Oh, the usual. I bowl. Drive around. The occasional acid flashback..."
