I've got a 2000 Chevy S10 that doesn't have a tachometer, yet. I've found this at www.partsamerica.com (which I have recently become a fan of). According to their site there is a location 2 miles from my house that has it in stock (is that service, or what?!) How hard are these to install? Has anyone done this before?
You will need to find the pinout for your specific ECU. One of the wires going to your ecu tells it what the RPMs are. The wire for the tach will splice into the wire going from your engine to your ecu.
hehe, yeah, here in the US we've got zip codes to tell the general area where we are. Usually each city has at least one zip code, the larger ones can have up to 100. This is so they know which stores are closest to the user.
