Following on from another thread where members expressed an interest in LEGO® I thought I would post some pictures of LEGO® houses my daughter made.

Well this puts anything I made as a child to shame...

Admittedly I was more concerned with making gigantic cars.

My lad tends to like leaving all over the house. I trod on a piece on the stairs the other night...I'll leave it to your own imagination to figure out the sort of language I was using!

I LOVE lego... we still have a nice big box of the stuff up in the loft somewhere.

When the niece is a bit older and less prone to sticking everything in her mouth I'll get it out again.

I too, was also obsessed with making huge cars... oh, and the odd robot.

Yay! I'm glad this thread's appeared. I loved making robots with the RCXs, and generally complicated technics things. I made a remote control boat once, using a gear train to power the propellers below the water :D

We built this lot over christmas, all my lad wanted for xmas was lego, think I got the most enjoyment out of it. :D

Excuse the quality of the video I just ran upstairs and shot it, will redo it tomorrow.

@Crapbag, that is super little setup although I must confess I was hoping for a derailment towards the end.

Maybe I should post the 1st vid I did, a road cleaner bit the dust when the train derailed on the level crossing. :).

    Track had come apart.

Stepping on a piece of lego is second only to brain freeze or funny bone in the excessive swearing due to pain stakes.

Once i manage to find the technic lego cigarette catapult i built i shall endeavour to post piccies. (could probably throw cookies aswell)

Stickle bricks are really unpleasurable to step on as well, got them out for my young niece when she came to visit, stood on one barefoot, felt like it had been bruised, hobbled for quite some time after.

I love lego :) I've still got a pretty big box of technic somewhere - How else are we supposed to find out how differentials, gearboxes, 4wd, engines etc work :p I loved the pneumatic systems aswell :)

I'll get some pics of my massive lego 4x4 (just from the instructions unfortunately, but that gearbox is darn clever)

    I turn 30 this year.

Both my wife and I still build lego, and have the creator sets featured at the start.

My gift this year was the following:

    @rkiver, coooooooool

When I was a nipper I only had the bits to do walls, roofs & windows. these days it seems it's the exact opposite, got a couple of different lego kits for my littleun & would struggle to make a 6x6 solid wall with the stuff. Got skeleton horses, buzz lighyear & a pull back & go motor though.....:dremel:
