We're in the process of rebuilding it atm - seems the crankshaft had been replaced with a racing copy and has worn down and made a mess of the engine

LMAO, not actually. It's a Honda 50cc that does 0 - 100km/h in... well, I have no idea if it actually has the ability to go 100km/h any more . Right now it's so useless, I'm just going to strip it down for parts.

It's got a close ratio 6 gears gearbox, and problally goes around 120 km/h

 

I finally found a camera. However I didnt get that great of pics since everything is put away for the winter.

My project bike, a Yamaha RD200, back in the 80's my dad's roomate blew the motor, didnt realize it needed 2-stroke oil. Been working on it on and off for a while.


My dad's bike a Honda S-90 (European version), needs a new batt and a carb cleaning. Lightest street legal bike I've ever ridden.

 

im still on a honda XR 125, just waiting and waiting for the pennies to add up till i get a new 1

This is my baby Ninja, which I haven't actually ridden yet.



Haven't got any amazing pictures yet, as I only bought it yesterday and it will have now gone into storage until I pass my test.

and what are the tubes for? Sorry I have no understanding of how bikes are built together :/

 

from my educated guess, i would say show...

 

The bike is a Kawasaki ZXR400 L, the pipes are for channelling cold air directly on to the engine/radiator. Not sure which one as I haven't had a chance to have the fairing off and have a proper look, but that is basically what they do.

Just thought they might actually be the intake! I really have no idea! When I get it home I will have a good look and let you know. :/
