So my PSU is getting worse and need a replacement and dont know what to go for i want to be spending around 60-80 quid and not any more ideally, and want it to cover the following -going to be running 560ti SLI at some point this year. -needs to power 5-6 HDD's and 1 DVD drive -got to be modular am i asking for too much for the price i want? Preferably on scan or ebuyer would appreciate your help! thanks
Take a look at the 650W Antec Truepower New or the 650W OCZ ZT. Both are solid PSUs. The Antec is semi modular and I have heard some criticisms about the cable length. The main critricism of the OCZ is that it appears to be missing a MOV on the input filtering stage. Either way both perform adequately and offer good value for money. Antec Review OCZ ZT Review
You'll be using all the connectors on the non modular cabling from the Antec anyway with everything on your list.
thanks for your recommendations, will be looking at them. came across this ocz fatality PSU, i usually avoid anything with gimmicky brands on them like fatality, but it seams like a good price and a good psu if not this one looks good any thoughts on this?
