I know this is against the rules since it's not a project log, but here is where it fits.

I am fed up with all the post saying:
    -Amazing work
    -Great job
    -AMAZING
    -W00T
    -Best mod ever
    etc. etc. etc.

It ok to get good response on your mod, but 20 pages with "great job" is overkill.
If there's no point in what you are saying; SHUT UP.

It should be forbidden to spam like that. Replies should contain helping info and constructive critics. Not "ass licking". Anyone agree?

I know, but i thought if i didn't put it here no Project Logger would read it.
    But anyway. Do you agree?

Tell you what. You get a project log up, and see if you don't just get a tiny thrill out of people laying lots of compliments on you. If you don't, fair do's and we'll talk again. :D

I agree. But it would be better if they added something.

    Like just:

"Amazing. I really like that paintjob. Really well done." etc.

    Instead of:

    "AMAZING"

edit: or maby add a feature so that you only see the authors posts? That would be great if you just want to see the mod. I like reading comments, but 20 pages of the same? And yes, I idmit I like getting good comments, but after a couple of pages we get the point.

The idea has been discussed many times iirc, most recently here where Bigz mentions it's "in the works".

True, bit-tech should probably do something about it, but as Nexxo said, it really feels satisfying to get responses saying "good job". A rule against "AMAZING" and the like would probably kill off some of the more substantial comments too, leaving only "how did you do *insert mod here*?", or responses to questions that the logger posts.

Thats a great idea. :O You should make a sticky in here of the best project logs to roll through bit-tech with a few completed shots of each :) That would be nice

it true that it gets anoying over the time to read page after page without anything else than those short coments, but on the other side for nubies on the side its sometimes the only thing to say. when i came here first i havend read that much and didnt know what to say else. you want to make a complement but dont say anything stupid, so keep it short and simple. again it should be that people spam there way up in the list.

I think bobbo has a good idea there. Is it possible to add a filter to only see the author's posts? It means that none of the original flavour is gone but it makes catching up on logs especially easier.
