    Got my invite as well. Going to give it a try. Need to install Ubuntu, I hate unity so much. Nearly as much as Metro. Think ill just can it for MATE and see if Steam runs fine with that.

    I'm running lubuntu and it seems fine with ldxe :)

    I actually experienced problems with Unity - buttons in both Steam and Uplink along the bottom 'bar' refused to work. Changing to XFCE (my preferred environment) and that problem went away.

    That's interesting, I would have thought the bugs would be seen on non unity interfaces first. Purely because unity is the default gui for ubuntu.

    There's a minor bug with KDE. Think it's a QT vs. GTK bug.
