Continuing my effort to contribute to the world of Bit-Tech, I thought i would start a thread that can do nothing but help each and every one of us. :D

The idea is, I name an artist and you have to reccomend another artist that compliments the first. For example:

    The Smashing Pumpkins - Audioslave

I think you guys get the idea, it's a great way to learn new artists you may enjoy and have a bit of fun in the process. :thumb:

    Here's the first artist.

    Massive Attack.

    Enjoy everyone, Condiment.

    Portishead

Nice bit of westcountry trip-hop. So do I name another band now? If so...Deftones.

A band that I know that aren't actually out yet but you will be hearing from very soon called Band Of Skulls (formerly Fleeing New York).

Exactly, you reccomend one to go with the previous poster, and name one for someone else to reccomend.

For Deftones i'd have to say Tool, very good style of music.

    DJ Shadow.

Primarly the first album, Neon Handshake is an utter work of art.

    Hope Of The States

Rocky, folkish awesomeness, with some of the best songwrighting for the last decade.

QFT. Neon handshake makes it into my top-10 albums tbh. 2nd album was poo imo, but the first is epic.

The Airborne Toxic Event - great new(ish) US band, kind of like HIFH really. Worth checking out.

A bit further down the rock spectrum towards metal, Fony have been my favourite band for a number of years now, despite their split. :(
