Various from The Free State Brewing Co. of Lawrence, KS. Unfortunately, I haven't found beer in CO that is as good. Young's Double Chocolate Stout, Young's Brewery Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout, North Coast Brewing (If I could get it on tap, it might displace #2 or #1) Murphy's Irish Stout, Murphy Brewery Samuel Smith Imperial Stout
You also have to get it in a place that can make them proper.... seen too many tap-jockies screw up a good pint...
to me the only way to go is Presidente, all other beers are too light for my taste. it's a dominican pilsner beer. can be found in NY and some other places in the states. the one in the states tastes diferent for some reason than the one we have here although they are the same one. i believe it must be becouse of some sort of regulations that don't allow it to go in the states without some "modding".
heh... i was kitchen manager at the local wing joint (bw3's) and usually just made my own , unless an owner was about ...
what i dont understand is how can you be a bartender and not know the spoon trick for black and tans, not only does it work it makes them fast, and you get the perfect amount of Gunnies and Harps in just a 2 pulls 1 from each tap, and wham bam thank you maam, i have made a tray with 7 B&T's on it in less time then my boss did making 2 of them he was mad at me untill i showed him the spoon trick
Don't you fill part with harp, then pour the guinness over a spoon slowly so they don't mix together or something?
yep thats the spoon trick, it keeps the guiness from poring down and mixing in with the harp, if you try and tip the mug and fill down the side, it just all mixes in to a sludge and that anit no good
That's so true, I don't bother ordering a black and tan unless they have a bent spoon hanging on the guiness tap....
