I love your work piloux, it's amazing! Only thing that I don't like is the stock grille in the front, I mean, after so much work, why didn't you just smooth it out? Anyway, good job!
Can you elighten us on how you created all your rustic effects ? [or is there already another post and I am just repeating other questions?]
Instead of telling me I am repeating a question, you could have been helpfull and told me where to look. ~`ShockSonic`~
hey Piloux, great work man....you really are the best. Been fun if you asked Valve to post a official reply on your work here in thi sforum. And to see a picture of your case in that HL2 presentation ofcourse cool case running a cool game on a cool screen....life is good congrats on a great mod. -Kent
hey piloux i was wondering if you could tell me how you did those cracks in the windows on the front of your other HL2 mod and this one on the main window. is it just fancy dremel work or is it really cracked? Just wondering for my own modding.
Hi matt, this is just a dremel works I used to make cracks around the holes, I also engraved some details with a cutter.
I haven't posted much in this thread because I didn't want to be spam, but this is a great piece of work man. Great job.
This case is almost legendary now There probably is'nt a person that is interested in case modding that does'nt know about you're case. Cheers, Mike
thanks, im making a call of duty themed case and i wanted to know because im making some holes in the metal as bullet holes by taking a huge nail and a sledge hammer and smashing them through so thry look ultra real becasue the surrounding metal will be punched in almost like a funnel shape. then im gonna have some bullet holes in the window on the other side to round it out. thanks for the info! if your not to busy can you take a look at my site and give me a bit of your expert opinion? it would be appreciated. go to here and click on projects. thanks! PS. sorry if someone already asked this but did valve pay you for this job? if so then how much? just curious. keep up the good work!
