Hey all, my new Xbox showed up today. I set it all up. Stuck forza 7 in and it started to install. The disc spun up and off it went. As it went on I thought it was taking a while so checked what was going on. Instead of installing off disc (the drive was spun up at the time) it is downloading 61GB....... I have checked all the settings and cannot see any reason why it's doing this. Anyone know why it's not installing off disc?. If so how do I make it do that Lee
My brain just clicked..... the original game must be 30GB. I'm downloading the 4k assets etc for the X.....that never occurred to me. 60GB though damn. Thats huge size.
It most likely is downloading a lot of the 4k textures as you said. Try disconnecting it from the net and let it install fully, then see what downloads it needs.
