I'm working on a project that requires a small Mini ITX motherboard. After have looked around for a while I mostly found Intel based boards in this form factor but I really would prefer AMD.

    What I'm looking for is:
    -AM3
    -DDR3 Ram
    -PCI-E 16x

The boards that I found so far were a bit outdated and I was wondering if anyone knows of a Mini ITX board that fits, or a company that makes newer AMD Mini ITX boards or any idea(s) to point me in the right direction.

    Thanks

I could not find any that would support DDR3, and your options are quite limited on the AMD road.
I did find some AM2+, DDR2 boards though.

Jetway makes this, but it uses SODIMMs.
Zotac makes this, but it is with a PCIe x1 slot.
Gigabyte makes this, which have a PCIe X16 and normal RAM slots.

All this was found on the first page of googleing "AM3 ITX", did you try that?

The only two high-performance ITX boards that i know of are the Zotac 9300 ITX for 775 processors, and the DFI P55 ITX for 1156 processors.

    Thank you bigkingfun and Xtrafresh,

I took a look at those suggested boards and again where some parts are what I would prefer, they lack on another note. I guess I didn't just overlook something.

I was speaking with another friend of mine and they suggested waiting until the new 800 series AMD chipsets come out as that may mean the manufacturers of the ITX boards may update their products.

Thanks for the second eyes, I guess my project will be going on hold for now.

    Hi,

    Sapphire Pure Mini 785G AM3.

This could be what you're looking for.
