Half of my guild members on WoW were female... we actually counted and it was 61% to 39% in their favor. Some were local and I even dated one for a pathetically short amount of time. There are two genders, the world population is roughly divided evenly between them. Keep doing what you enjoy and eventually you'll actually find someone who cares and doesn't cost $8.25 every 10 minutes.

Also, I could have a lot more fun and get a lot more time for my money on a phone sex line.

okay I am not good when it comes to relationship. I just don't have any self esteem bla bla bla and therefore I am single (well duh..)

However, I think I would find it even harder (and lame) to try and date online. I don't understand how this could make things easier for anyone... I mean if you want a girlfriend you will have to see her in real eventually... and then you will have plenty of occasions on your first date to fck things up haha

I know some hardcore gamers might fall for a girl that is also hardcore at the same games as him but that can bring unhealthy competition and let's face it, there are very cute and hot gamer girls.

BUT why the hell only girls get money and man have to pay for this? It's just like real life, men pays, women spend! It should be more like, the one that wants to play with someone from the other gender pays and the other receives. simple but kind of "sex" solicitation. Go outside, LAN parties and some other "geek" stuff, you might get that for free or even cheaper and the probability of being tricked to believe there's a HOT person on the other side and find that was a overweight person is down to almost nill.

To me, the company is acting like a true Pimp (sorry for the foul language)

 

hrmm, my girl is a gamer and currently out of work. I wonder if we could play together (with me off webcam screen) and get paid. shoot even if you only get 2 or 3 a week that pays for a wow account right there.

 

It's amazing the amount of people that want to pimp their gf/otherhalfs/partners/etc, I read in the IGN review that the same thing happened to a reviewer, the person he was playing had their boyfriend in the background.

It's basically the same as those late-night sex lines you see advertised all the time, just over the web and with games involved. Fair enough business model, it's just a shame they couldn't market it truthfully.
