I have Centos 6 running on an HP microserver. Postfix and Dovecot seems to be working. What I would like to accomplish is get it to collect mail from different providers, like virginmedia, gmail, gmx into one place, then I can connect to the microserver to get all my mails. Is fetchmail what I need? What about spam protection? virginmedia mailboxes usually have lots of junk in them. Can anyone point me to a good tutorial or shall i just follow the fetchmail howtos? I am still a linux newbie but I can usually follow instructions fairly successfully.
