Had a Type R PSU replaced in April under warranty no problem,... the replacement blew a couple of weeks ago, it went BANG when i powered it on after it being off for 1 week while I was on holiday. I contacted the RMA dept via email the 2 ppl there who I had dealt with to get the previous RMA. NEITHER has responded in over two weeks. I just look on the Hiper site and there is no live link to RMA or contact info. Now my suspicions are raised. Anyone kno whats going on or tell me they have had service from them? Cheers
You warrenty should still lie with the manufacture, so you could try RMA'ing it direct with the manufacture instead.
Mine went bang too, perhaps it's best that they're no longer making PSUs, the quality doesn't seem that great. Moriquendi
Yes they were total shite in my opinion. Nice to hold and look at but the quality of the internals must have been total pants. I KNEW i should of sold the damn thing when they RMA's it!! I just knew! Cheers
thing is they use to make decent PSU's, then they just stopped doing quality products and stopped updating there product line. shame really i have two hiper's still in use.
