After a bit of fiddling, and not before time, I've sorted out my uni webspace. So, now I have in the region of 400MB, unlimited bandwidth space for FREE!

So, here's a random picture, just because I can.

...i cant believe how difficult it is to find a site that gives you information on telling the gender of a swan, and im kind of scared to search for 'gender' at work.... :worried:

anyway, i couldnt tell if it was a gander.... i would hate to spoil your joke anyway so im gonna forget it. :sigh:

lol, I'm not really sure it's a gander but you just need any bird for the joke and it still works, you see.

really? arnt ganders only male swans or is gander the generic term for a male bird?

hehe bargain hunters, what a great show weve got install bargain hunters. a friend of mine applied for that as a joke and got a call from the show asking all about him to see if he was a good contestant for the show

....he never got called back :hehe:

Yea, a gander is a male swan. But if you take gander as an avian term then the joke works because then it doesn't matter what the bird is.

yeah but saying 'gander as an avian term' means i could call a male chicken (rooster) a gander..

and it isnt a gander is it....

but the picture is of a swan, and your joke in this context is 100% totally correct and works, so hats of to you.... i really didnt want to turn this into an argument or anything... just had a momentery blank of male bird terms :D

peace my friend, we are all fighting for the greater good. some more than others -ƒlamika

I was taught a swan is a cob (male), or pen (female), and young ones are cygnets.

    (Nice pic too)

Yeah being paid to look at the internet thats how i like to view it :D while (when im not too busy with internet or being watched)code testing the new flight control systems to be using in civil and military planes in the future... well i know which is more interresting, and for my fowl gender wins everytime! , until i loose my job hehe

but that would mean i would need to find other employment to pay for my car, and i dont want to go back to working somewhere like bluewater :waah:

But seriously im not too bothered, im just one of those annoying people who picks up on tiny little split hairs.. the kind of guy you just want to beat the hell out of when you meet them??? am i right

But im trying to change i swear!! i just couldnt resist the fowl gender thing

    Black Swans rule.

Where i live there is a lake outside the house that has 21 (maybe more) white swans and 2 old (about 17 years and more) black swans, ive seen both of those blacks clear the white swans away with no trouble, they rule the lake. hahahaha
