About 8 month ago I bought myself LG UH10LS20 Blu-ray Disc drive. I hardly use it as it is, but today for the first time blue light started blinking and making all kinds of clicking noises. Did she die?
Can't speak for that particular drive but had similar problems with SONY units. In my case a Firmware update made the drive function again. If you can find the original manufacturer (probably LITE-ON) with an equivalent model you could try overriding the original firmware. Takes a little investigative work however!
