No you get a pistol and shoot it to make sure the electrical conduvity is still ok.

Next you jump off the edge of a hill, this should rectify the problem if it doesn't then..

pull out the battery, and wash it good in fresh water and let the phone dry COMPLETELY... if it doesn't work afterwards it's no hope..

its luck of the draw really, had a mate that dropped his phone into a glass of water, never worked again, another friend managed to leave her phone in the washing machine for 3 loads of washing, and after it dried out it worked fine, and was nice and clean

phones are harder than you think...

my ex flatmate in a drunken binge managed to drop his in a pint of beer,

then he decided hed wash it in a sink full of water and then dry it by microwaving it....

And after that it still worked fine apart from the microphone which was fecked.

my mate challenged himself to see how many claps he couyld do whilst his phone fell then catch it... but this was above a drain :hehe: i think he got up to 4 claps before it slipped through his hands, bounced off the rim and went plop down the drain :)

he went and robbed some litter pickers (returned em of course ;)) and fished it out lol

the buttons didnt work but it powered up. he let it dry next lesson (btw this was in school) then it worked fine :) even if a little smelly... plus people poured things on it whilst laughing at him :) including iced tea ;)

    hope its ok :thumb:

    having experience with this.....

take the battery out of the phone, toss it on a towel and forget about it for a week or so

then put the battery back in, charge it up and see if it still works

chlorine shouldn't have any negative harm on the phone itself, so hopefully it'll still work afterward

like computers, if you let small electronics dryout completely after getting them wet, sometimes they'll work proper

i see this all the time, people always drop phones in water. the best thing to do is get a new phone. very few survive and chances of them working for a long time are slim to none. if condensation builds up its going to fry it most likely. i see it almost every week (work @ radioshack and we seel verizon and sprint)
