    Cool! Back in the early/mid 60's or so there was the AquaCar but seems to be pretty slow in the water. They discontinued it because it rusted out very quickly.

    *looks at pics again*

    :eyebrow: Would be odd to site in the middle of the car when driving down the road though...

    There was an article in the paper today about the new amphibious car, made by a firm called Gibb. Looks quite good I think, and the wheels tuck up into the arches for using it in the water (wonder if you can put them up while driving down the road, could be fun :lol: ).

    If someone wants to lend me £150,000 (expensive init?:eeek:) I'll quite happily try it out for a while :lol:

    i was there at the launch of it - looks damn good

    £150,000 is a bit steep tho, but the firm wants to license out the technology to companies to build SUVs or buses that can go on the water aswell
