    Hi

If I liked Fallout 3, what other games would you folks suggest I take a look at?

Oblivion, made by same people. - Dated now, but still very good!
Mass Effect 1 & 2 - sy-fy roleplay.... VERY good games, loved them both.

Thats about it for now... lol, its a start at least :D

Never got on with Oblivion at the time, maybe I should re-install on my current rig, at least I'd be able to crank it up to 11 compared to the slideshow I would have had at the time.

Forgot about Mass Effect, I've got that too, but only played it a couple of times. I should give that another re-install too.

    Thanks guys.

Gamespot handily recommends Fallout 2, Fallout 1, Fallout New Vegas (unreleased) and Oblivion.

    :duh:

But yes, Mass Effect (haven't tried 2) is quite good.

Yeah go for for FNV when that comes out, looks very promising, if it's as half as good as Fallout 3 then we're in for a treat! :D

Definitely Oblivion, damn fine game - loved every minute of it plus I think it's on offer on Steam ATM. I also agree with Mass Effect 1 and 2 also bloody awesome!

+1 for Borderlands, I forgot that.

Or Just Cause 2 for something a bit more casual+mental that's still an open-world (not an RPG though, hence the casual).

Screw Oblivion unless you wanna download about 2gb's of mods... Really, as it comes out the box it's a fairly poor game imo.

Dragon Age is is basically the love-child of KoToR and LotR. Buy it, play it, love it.

I disagree, Oblivion was a great game out of the box and one that got even better with mods.

Dragon Age and to a lesser extent its expansion, Awakenings, are well worth your time.
