This weekend I got the SSD and a graphics card. I was waiting to see what the fermi would be like. As I wasn't impressed with the results of the fermi I decided to go with the fast but cool Sapphire 5870 Vapor X. The graphics card is very quiet indeed. My old 275 GTX sounds much louder at both idle and load. I can run BFBC2 at 1920 on high with everything turned up to the max.

For the SSD I went with a Crucial RealSSD C300 128GB. This is my first SSD and I must say I am very impressed with it. Windows boots extremely fast and the OS is a lot snappier. The annoying startup whirrrr of the mechanical drive is now a distant memory. The whole system is much quieter.

I'm hoping to have everything in the case by the end of April. I may get another 5870 between now and then. I need to braid the ATX and cpu power cables.
