    I played Quake2 on a 4MB Matrox card and a 200MHz MMX! And it looks great :D

    Can't wait for this to be done... :clap:

    Wasn't 3dfx using a glide wrapper? minigl?

    Palyed quake on 640x480 on my school pc's p133 with a s3 virge dx! w00t... Then I finally got a voodoo 3 pci... man that rocked!

    Credits where its due. Those guys deserve some serious kuduos for devoting so much time and effort into it. As it looks liek a proper job, not some half baked one.

    werent they origionally just rebuilding the quake 2 engine? or was that near the start? Be interesting to see how they distribute it, maybe quake 2 will be freeware by the time its released :p

    hilariously enough one of the biggest reasons I bought quake 4 for my xbox 360 was the fact that it came with quake 2 with some nifty co-op and multiplayer options. I can't wait to play through the single player :rock:
