Steam Shattered Horizon free trial on steam

Game seems to be pretty original, i like the no sound stealth mode. not sure if i will pay for it yet though...

Couldnt turn anything about medium with my 4870, but it still looked pretty nice, not sure if there are unlockable weapons i hope so.

I also play eve online (sigh) would be awesome if it had this kind of gameplay

yeah this game rules, there is "only" one gun btw.

 

you make it sound like thats a bad thing, personally i think it rocks.

 

I wish I could play it, even though my pc is well above the recommended specs, it runs poorly.

 

its one of main reasons that i love this game, its why i wrote "only". i mean its an assault rifle, grenade launcher (with 3 type of grenades), and a sniper rifle, oh and you can stab with the bayonet. in some games that would be 4 weapons...

Just tried it wish i hadn't bothered, i thought it looked crappy and it ran crappy as well.

Tried it for 10 mins and had enough.

It might be dx10, but i've seen much better dx9 visuals.

 

It's a shame it takes a free weekend and DLC to make anyone go near this game again, trouble is the gameplay is very samey. If there was a singleplayer campaign it would be brilliant. On release it was full of players, then the servers emptied completely.

I have a 4870 and it runs on full at 1680x1050, no AA admittedly.

 

+1, I have a 4870 512MB, runs on High at 1440x900.

It's quite good, but there aren't many players, and yeah, you couldn't play it all day every day because then it would be repetitive

 

haha are you on crack? SH is literally the best looking game out

 

Maybe technically, but visually, it's quite grey. He might've seen a interesting-to-look-at, colourful jungle in DX9.
