    Same as this one Conrad Europe
    p/n: 184005 - 8A
    EL-INVERTER WE-50 costs 4,27 euros.
    Try Conrad.com, i'm afraid it's gonna be expensive for the UK.
    I have used one for backlighting my (dead) 128x128, works ok. EL sheet can be had from Conrad too.

    Perhaps, but i can't believe this thing can't be had in the UK for a reasonable price. Any big electronic shops in UK?

    Have you inquired at Conrad's website? Is it still too expensive from Conrad?

    well it's there. Conrad p/n: 184005 - 8A. But you need to call these guys on availability.
