Quick question regarding using an SMS server to upgrade multiple computers at once.

Basically here at work we are going to be upgrading all our users computers from office 97/2k to office 2003. The majority of our users are still running office 97. We are going to use our SMS server to push the upgrade out. I ran a test install on my computer (not using the SMS) just to make sure that all the settings transfered just fine.

Everything worked great except that our pop3 accounts are requiring a password re-entry. None of our users are given access to the password to their account on the pop3 server since we set that up when we give them the new computer. Does anyone know of a way around this, or a way to fix it so that we can push the upgrade through the SMS and have everything be set and ready to go without us going to each computer to re-imput the password?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    Jose

P.s. the reason why each of our users has a seperate account on our external mail server is because that server is still running NT4. We plan on upgrading it soon and might hold out on pushing off2k3 out until we upgrade the ExternalMail to Win-Server 2k3 and eliminate the individual external mail accounts.
